The Role

Silcom Recruitment are delighted to be supporting an established independent used car operation in Swindon, who are seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician & MOT Tester to join their team. This role is primarily MOT-focused, with repair work when required. A great opportunity to join a supportive business offering excellent pay and work-life balance.

Responsibilities & Requirements

• Conduct MOT tests in line with DVSA standards.
• Assist with light servicing and maintenance when required.
• Diagnose and repair faults accurately and efficiently.
• Complete all job cards and service documentation to a professional standard.
• Valid MOT Testing licence (essential).
• Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance & Repair qualification required.

The Package

• Basic Salary: £42,500 + bonus of up to £50,000
• Hours: Monday to Friday - 8:00am to 5:00pm (No weekends).
• Independent used car operation with a supportive team environment.
