TRAINEE MATERIALS TECHNICIAN

We are looking for a dependable, dedicated and flexible Trainee Materials Technician to join our UKAS accredited Materials Team. As a member of the Materials team, it is key that you are able to thrive in a team environment, as well as independently. The fundamental part of the role is to determine the physical properties of a wide range of materials including concrete, earthworks, aggregates and bituminous mixtures to ensure compliance with specifications. All testing will be undertaken in line with a range of British, European and American standards, so a good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures is required.

Tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to):

• Sampling and testing of construction materials

About Materials Testing

Our Materials Testing team perform an extensive range of testing and compliance services across a wide range of construction projects including highways, rail, airfields, ports and harbours, power stations, sports stadia in addition to new build projects across Industrial, Commercial and Residential properties.
