Overview

Technical Quality Engineer needed for a Major Offshore Wind Developer in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and ensure quality control strategies in line with the Project Management Plan and quality plans.
  • Support and advise project teams (design and fabrication) on quality management systems and implementation.
  • Guide and monitor contractors and sub-suppliers on compliance with the client's quality requirements.
  • Ensure delivery and review of pre-fabrication and as-built documentation.
  • Coordinate and communicate quality initiatives across internal teams and contractors.
  • Oversee contractor non-conformance reports (NCRs) and technical query (TQ) management.
Qualifications
  • Background in fabrication of steel components (ideally offshore wind / heavy industry).
  • Relevant quality management training (ISO 9000, APQP, etc.).
  • Strong experience in quality assurance/control and project processes.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Team player with LEAN mindset and international collaboration experience.
  • Fluent English (spoken & written).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Full driving licence; must live within 1 hour of Middlesbrough site.
