Job description
About the Role

At Titanbay, we’re reshaping private market investing, creating access, transparency and control for private banks, wealth & asset managers and their clients. Our platform is built by a tight-knit engineering team solving real problems in scalable ways and we’re looking for a Software Engineer as we expand the team to help us continue to grow our offering.

You’ll join a supportive cross-functional team that owns the full development lifecycle, from idea to release. We value lean code, thoughtful architecture and strong collaboration as well as a strong desire to continue learning as we don’t expect you to know everything on day one.

If you’re excited by our mission and eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll do
  • Design and build robust, scalable web applications — front-end, back-end, and everything in between
  • Collaborate with developers and product managers to shape and implement new features
  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with performance and security in mind
  • Develop and manage databases and APIs to support our platform’s growing capabilities
  • Contribute to architectural decisions and technical documentation
  • Continuously improve processes through code reviews, retrospectives, and knowledge-sharing
What you’ll bring

We’re interested in people with a solid technical foundation and a growth mindset, not necessarily those who tick every box.

You might have:

  • Experience building full-stack applications using TypeScript and modern JavaScript frameworks (we use Vue.js)
  • Exposure to backend systems and database design (bonus if you’ve worked with Firestore or GCP)
  • A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and teach
  • Strong communication skills and a user-focused approach to problem-solving
Benefits & Perks

We believe great work happens when people feel supported, in and out of the workplace.

Here’s what you can expect as part of the team:

  • 28 days holiday per year + bank holidays (with the option to roll over up to 5 days annually)
  • Private health insurance and dental cover
  • Life insurance (3x salary)
  • Employee share options, own a part of what you help build
  • Company pension scheme
  • EAP, mental health and wellbeing support for you and your family
  • Juno & ClassPass— personals health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefit allowances
  • Enhanced parental leave for all parents
  • ParentPromise, digital support designed for new and expecting parents
  • Salary sacrifice options:
    • Cycle to Work
    • Workplace nursery
    • Home and tech equipment
Flexibility & Culture
  • Flexible working hours
  • Work from anywhere for up to 1 month per year
  • Regular team lunches, socials, and offsites
  • A supportive environment where you’re encouraged to learn, grow, and make an impact
