Site Manager - Fit-Out

Near St Albans, Herts | £50m Luxury Retirement Development | £70,000 - £80,000

If you've ever wondered how a site can be behind schedule early in the morning, this might be the role for you. We are seeking a Site Manager to join the team on the internal fit-out of a £50m retirement apartment development, comprising several high-end apartment blocks and over 30 cottages.

Duration: Running through to September 2026.

Responsibilities include leading the internal fit-out, focusing on details such as grout lines and paint colours, and coordinating trades to meet tight timelines.

The role:

• Manage the internal fit-out alongside another Site Manager.
• Coordinate trades who aim to finish tasks by set deadlines.
• Ensure drawings match the built environment.
• Oversee quality and detail, such as socket alignment and silicone work.

Wishlist:

• Experience in residential, student accommodation, hotels, or care homes projects.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience on projects, with longevity on previous roles.
• Tier 1 experience, capable of maintaining high standards and meeting schedules.
