The Site Coordinator is responsible for implementing and managing site-specific operations related to laboratory equipment engineering support and HSE expectations. Acting as the primary liaison between global experts and site teams this role ensures smooth coordination between global programs and local execution driving operational excellence and embedding safe reliable and sustainable practices throughout the site.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPoC) for site HSE and engineering-related coordination ensuring compliance with Sandoz expectations and UK legislation.
  • Own the implementation of site-level programs serving as the key liaison between global Engineering and HSE leaders and local teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Implement and manage site-specific engineering and maintenance programs to ensure reliability and compliance of technical installations and laboratory equipment.
  • Drive the Safety and Maintenance and Control (SAMACO) program and the Global Maintenance and Asset Reliability Program ensuring timely inspections testing and preventive maintenance.
  • Support and execute local engineering projects upgrades and modifications in collaboration with global technical teams to deliver site engineering and operational objectives.
  • Manage and maintain Sandoz digital platforms relevant to the role (e.g. Enablon Enhesa).
  • Coordinate and implement the local HSE framework in alignment with global Sandoz standards for laboratory and office environments including training incident reporting and investigation emergency preparedness and environmental management.
  • Conduct and support audits inspections and risk assessments for laboratory equipment and site activities. Prepare detailed compliance reports for management and regulatory authorities and analyse trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Promote and enforce safe working practices to help build a culture that puts health safety and environmental protection at the heart of everything we do.
What you’ll bring to the role
Essential Requirements
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office especially Excel and data analytics capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
Desirable
  • Experience in site coordination engineering support and HSE implementation.
  • Understanding of laboratory equipment maintenance and reliability programs.
  • Experience in GxP-regulated environments.
  • NEBOSH or equivalent certification.
