Overview

Service Engineer £25,000-£40,000 per year depending on experience. This role is for a manufacturing company with over 20 years' experience in the field of chemical dosing and process controller equipment. An opportunity has arisen to join their service and engineering team operating nationwide from their Sleaford based office. The ideal applicant will have experience in front line, customer facing, installation/servicing/engineering with a plumbing bias and be willing to work nationwide with overnights as required. Candidates without experience will not be suitable in this instance.

Responsibilities

• Attending customer sites nationwide ranging from industrial factories to leisure centres to complete routine, planned service work.
• Attending customer sites nationwide to carry out fault diagnosis and repairs on a call out basis.
• Liaising directly with customers and end users on site.
• Managing stock of spare parts on company vehicle.
• Completing post-visit reports / surveys.

Requirements

• Full driving license valid for use in the UK
• A plumbing qualification to support experience
• Experience in servicing / engineering industry with an electrical element/experience being desirable
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to work well within a small team.
