Qualifications

• Experience on large scale projects £20-30m+.
• CSCS and SMSTS required.
• First Aid certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing setting out and engineering works onsite.
• Writing 'As Built' surveys for the project.
• Conducting Quality Assurance for all engineering tasks.

Job description

Options Resourcing is partnering with one of the country's major contractors, when dealing with large scale commercial and industrial projects, to place a Senior Site Engineer in Avonmouth to utilise their engineering skills and management experience for 40 weeks.

The Project is a steel shed distribution centre which requires delivering earth works, the build of the centre itself as well as external works such as carparks and 278 works to connect existing roads.

As the Senior Site Engineer, you will oversee all engineering works onsite from setting out, Quality Assurance work, requests for information all while reporting to the Project Manager.


Day-to-day responsibilities:
Overseeing setting Out
Writing As Built Surveys
Doing Quality Assurance
Liaison between Site Team and Subcontractors

Qualifications & Experience:
CSCS
SMSTS
First aid
Own Kit is preferable but not essential.
Experience on large scale projects £20-30m+
HNC or Degree Qualification in Civils

Rate:
Without kit, £300 £330 per day
With kit, £340 - £400
Either paid through CIS or outside IR35 through limited company.
