As a Senior Delivery Manager at the Ministry of Housing, Communities & Local Government (MHCLG), you will lead high‑performing multidisciplinary teams and deliver large‑scale digital products by applying robust agile practices across the service delivery lifecycle.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate one or two multidisciplinary teams, organising and planning their work to deliver products and services that meet user needs.
  • Maintain delivery momentum by removing blockers, addressing issues, and ensuring the team follows agile practices while reporting progress to portfolio and senior management.
  • Manage supplier relationships, contribute to budgets and business cases, balance cost versus value, and monitor financial health of delivery.
  • Actively participate in the Delivery Manager community, sharing knowledge and, where appropriate, mentoring other Delivery Managers.
Qualifications
  • Experience and deep knowledge of agile methodologies and large‑scale digital delivery.
  • Proven track record of continuous planning, forecasting, and road‑mapping in an agile environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and resolve problems, promoting agile practices within an organisation.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
  • A passion for coaching, mentoring, and developing high‑performing teams.
Salary and Benefits

Salary: £56,167 per annum.
