Milk Education is recruiting caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to join a fantastic autism-specific school in Shirley, providing 1:1 support for pupils, on a long-term or short-term basis, starting immediately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide dedicated 1:1 support to pupils with autism, tailoring assistance to individual needs.
  • Support pupils with communication, social interaction, emotional regulation, and daily routines.
  • Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement personalised learning plans and strategies.
  • Promote positive behaviour and engagement, ensuring a calm, safe, and nurturing learning space.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and a sense of achievement in pupils.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:
