The Role:

As a Scrum Master, you will work within a team, managing business demands, coordinating product specifications, and resolving potential issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure project goals, scope, and product domains are understood by all team members.
  • Remove blockers and help the team improve processes to prevent future issues.
  • Implement Agile and Scrum best practices across teams.
  • Coordinate product specifications, sprints, meetings, demos, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Track progress and resolve potential issues.
  • Coach and mentor on Agile and Scrum principles.
  • Estimate deliverables using reliable sources.
  • Assist employees in writing effective user stories and subtasks.
  • Coordinate release processes with other departments.
  • Prepare the product backlog for upcoming sprints.
  • Monitor and address impediments to ensure timely delivery within scope, budget, and quality.
  • Document progress and communicate with management and stakeholders.
  • Work with Test Lead to ensure appropriate testing of user stories.
  • Produce sprint reports such as burn-down charts, burn-up charts, and velocity metrics.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proficiency in Agile & Scrum methodologies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, release management, retrospectives, SAFe.
  • Project leadership: goal alignment, scope management, risk/issue resolution, cross-functional coordination.
  • Facilitation & coaching: mentoring, servant leadership, conflict resolution, removing blockers.
  • Communication & collaboration: stakeholder reporting, documentation, active listening, negotiation.
  • Technical tools: Jira, Confluence, Trello, Azure DevOps, MS Office, Google Workspace, QA/testing tools.
  • Analytical skills: velocity tracking, burn-down/up charts, progress dashboards, estimating deliverables.
  • Adaptability & problem-solving: managing changing requirements, process improvement, continuous learning.
  • Industry knowledge: SDLC, release management, quality assurance collaboration.
