Sales Executive at Hyatt Regency Birmingham - Join Our Dynamic Team!

Reporting to the Groups & Events Manager, the role involves day-to-day management of the hotel's groups, meetings & events. You will be responsible for building strong working relationships with clients by ensuring you maintain regular contact by phone, email and in person.

Some of the key tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Manage group and event enquiries from initial contact to post event follow up, ensuring prompt communication, accurate proposals and exceptional client satisfaction.
  • Provide friendly and knowledgeable site visits with clients.
  • Communicate effectively with internal operational teams to ensure seamless event execution and a consistent guest experience.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all bookings and event details within internal systems, ensuring accuracy & clarity.
  • Attend sales functions, meetings, and exhibitions as required.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously enhance event offerings and drive repeat business.

The ideal candidate will have gained experience in a similar role, preferably within a hospitality environment. We are looking for an excellent communicator with a strong eye for detail and good sales and negotiation skills. You are highly organised and bring a passion for planning and service excellence.

Salary is £26,780 per annum with the below benefits.
