Job Title: Remote Sales Team Lead (100% Work From Home)


Location: Remote from Latin America


Position Type: Full-time


Salary: $1,800 USD/month + uncapped performance bonuses/commissions


Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm Central Time



Our Client

Our client is a fast-growing commercial solar installation company based in the United States, helping businesses reduce energy costs and carbon emissions through custom-designed solar energy systems. To accelerate our growth, we're launching a remote outbound business development team and are hiring a Sales Team Lead/Business Development Manager to build, lead, and scale this new function.



Job Overview

As the Sales Team Lead, you will be the first hire and key leader in establishing their Latin America–based outbound call center. Your primary responsibility is to build and manage a team of 5 SDRs (Sales Development Representatives) focused on cold calling and setting qualified appointments for our U.S.-based Account Executives. You will report directly to the VP of Sales & President and be responsible for all team performance, hiring, training, daily operations, and pipeline reporting.



Responsibilities


  • Team Leadership

    • Hire, onboard, and manage a team of 5 remote SDRs

    • Develop onboarding materials, training schedules, and success metrics

    • Lead daily team stand-ups and weekly performance reviews



  • Outbound Sales Execution

    • Personally make outbound calls and conduct prospecting to generate qualified appointments

    • Support the team in overcoming objections, managing leads, and booking meetings

    • Be accountable for your own weekly call volume and appointment targets in addition to team oversight



  • Outbound Operations

    • Monitor daily outbound activity (75–100 calls per SDR per day)

    • Ensure lead qualification and script adherence

    • Assign appointments to AEs using a round-robin or territory-based model



  • Reporting & Performance Management

    • Use Pipedrive CRM and Google Sheets to track KPIs

    • Report weekly performance metrics to the VP of Sales

    • Monitor show rates, appointment quality, and AE feedback

    • Coach SDRs to improve output and quality



  • Strategy & Optimization

    • Refine scripts, objection handling, and appointment workflows

    • Provide insights on market trends and call performance

    • Occasionally assist with calls and escalations





Qualifications, Skills, and Key Competencies


  • 2+ years managing outbound sales or SDR/BDR teams

  • Experience hiring, training, and managing remote salespeople

  • Strong English communication skills (written and spoken)

  • Proficient with Pipedrive, RingCentral, and Google Workspace

  • Comfortable working partial or full U.S. business hours

  • Bonus: Experience in solar, energy, construction, or B2B lead generation
