Job summary

A leading civil engineering contractor in the UK is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on HS2 projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily inspections and managing documentation, including HPN, FCR, and RFI. Experience with HS2 software NOVADE is essential. This role offers a competitive day rate and is outside IR35, with an immediate start available.

Overview

Our client, a top Civil Engineering Contractor in the UK have the need for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team on HS2 projects which include Highways, Structures, Earthworks and Utility Diversions.

Location

Based from their offices in Aylesbury, daily duties will include:

Responsibilities

• Daily inspections and creating HPN (Hold Point Notification) for each activity also raising FCR (Field change Request), NCR (NCR Inspection Notification) and RFI (Request for Information) if necessary.
• Sending invitation for inspection to main contractor and HS2.
• Managing handovers with other Subcontractors.
• Documenting and updating Company share drives.
• Attending technical meetings with main contractor (Designers and Quality) weekly.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will be experienced in undertaking QA Engineering roles and you MUST have experience in using the HS2 software NOVADE for this so ideally you will have worked on HS2 under EKFB.
