Property & Casualty Scheme Trading Underwriter - West Midlands (Hybrid Working)

We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading MGA’s who are currently seeking and experienced Property & Casualty Scheme Trading Underwriter.

This role would be based in their prestigious office in the West Midlands which has good access routes and free parking.

Hybrid working is also supported with 2 days in the office per week.

There is great opportunity to progress your career within the business where support would be given to achieve this, including financial help to complete industry exams if desired.

The Role:

As a key team member, you'll focus on growing our trading team by handling larger and more complex property and casualty risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Meeting growth targets for New Business and Renewals.
• Developing broker and insurer accounts in line with our underwriting appetite.
• Providing technical expertise for scheme business.
• Collaborating with Key Account Managers to nurture broker relations.

Requirements:

• Cert CII or progress toward completion.
• Solid experience in the commercial insurance industry.
• Proven expertise in Property and Casualty underwriting.
• A track record of achieving targets.
• Flexibility, resilience, and strong communication skills.

Ideal candidate would have:-

Attractive basic salary to £45K, plus pension, bonus.
