Job description
Overview

Position: Project Manager

Rate: £450 (awaiting IR35 assessment)

Location: Euston

Duration: 12 months

Start date: ASAP

Responsibilities
  • Managing the civil and architectural fit-out works through to completion.
  • Managing the technical submittal process, including collating and submitting technical sub information and consultation with London Underground (LUL) to ensure the technical submissions are approved. This often requires two or three reiterations of submissions to obtain final sign-off, and will include coordinating with the supply chain to resolve technical queries and questions.
  • Managing the NOWRI process. These are milestones for inspection and acceptance by LU of installed works; the project manager will need to undertake all the planning and preparation.
  • General stakeholder management, including meetings and site walks.
  • Completing tech sub and NOWRI paperwork on behalf of other Mace package managers.
  • Project management of the construction delivery of the fit-out works in the LU areas, in accordance with the programme in place.
  • Coordinate with the package managers and take on the LU elements of each package – blockwork, screed, wall linings, ceilings, floor finishes, wayfinding, signage, etc.
Qualifications
  • Must have experience working on London Underground projects.
  • Must have held a Sentinel card, which can have expired.
  • Obtained or working towards EngTech, IEng, CEng, or equivalent.
  • A PRINCE2 Practitioner / APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
