Overview

Our client is a major utilities contractor delivering HV and EHV schemes in the EV charging market. The role is national in scope, with on-site leadership duties and remote work when not required on site.

Responsibilities
  • Act in a leadership role, working closely with ICPs, DNOs and IDNOs to oversee installation of EV charging points in a wide variety of commercial settings.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and design teams to execute project milestones, manage programme and budget.
  • Oversee works on a national basis and ensure alignment with project timelines and quality standards.
Qualifications
  • Experienced project manager with extensive experience delivering EV charging point installations.
  • Experience liaising with DNOs, IDNOs and ICPs.
  • Familiar with design processes and able to interpret design schematics.
  • While not a commissioning role, familiarity with testing and commissioning processes.
  • Familiar with legal processes such as wayleaves, easements and land access.
  • Ideally degree qualified in electrical engineering.
  • Autonomous, professional and comfortable dealing with senior industry stakeholders.
  • Based in the UK and fully eligible to work in the UK.
Working Arrangements

When not required on site, this role will be remote; however regular national travel will be required.
