A leading utility company in England seeks a Project Manager to oversee key project KPIs across a portfolio of capital engineering projects. Responsibilities include managing project delivery aspects and liaising with stakeholders. Ideal candidates will have experience in engineering construction and NEC projects, possess a UK driving license, and demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills. Based out of our Finham (Coventry) or Edgbaston (Birmingham) office, our Project Managers will be accountable for delivering on key project KPIs across a portfolio of large capital engineering and construction projects. You'll be managing the six aspects of project delivery including scope, schedule, finance, risk, quality and resources, as well as liaising with project stakeholders at all levels. A full UK driving licence is mandatory for this role, as you will be required to travel independently to sites within the Severn Trent region.
Experienced in project and programme delivery, you will be a forward thinking and innovative leader capable of managing multiple capital engineering and construction works. Experience of managing NEC projects is desirable, with a proven track record of cost planning and management and budgetary responsibility. You will be dynamic and collaborative with excellent communication and influencing skills. You will have a strong ability to build successful working relationships with internal and external stakeholders from a diverse range of backgrounds and hold a relentless drive for continuous improvement, with the ability to innovate and anticipate unexpected issues and challenges as they arise.
