A leading advanced manufacturing company is seeking a Production Team Leader to join its high-performing production team. This role is based on a 24/7 rotational shift pattern offering substantial rest time between shifts, providing a strong work-life balance while maintaining full-time employment.

About the Role:
You will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day manufacturing activities of your team. You'll play a critical role in ensuring production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards - while supporting and developing your team to deliver on key performance goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of operators to deliver on production targets.
• Ensure all Health & Safety procedures and safe systems of work are followed at all times.
• Monitor production processes, maintain standards, and implement quality control measures.
• Plan, schedule, and direct work activity across your team to ensure smooth operations.
• Conduct regular team briefings, appraisals, and training needs analysis.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and visual performance management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve production or quality issues.
• Act as a role model for positive behaviour, professionalism, and safe working practices.

What You'll Need:

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or production leadership role.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, health & safety, and quality systems.
• Excellent people management and communication skills.
• Computer literate with good organisational and planning ability.
• Ability to lead from the front, work independently, and solve problems proactively.
• A degree is desirable but not essential - equivalent experience will also be considered.
