Overview

Job Description: Help us make a difference as a Production Supervisor at our facility in Seaham. Seaham - 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, repeat (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am). Salary: £36,094 per annum inclusive of 5% shift allowance (15.74 per hour).

A quick look at the role: To support site management in the day to day management/supervision of the facility and its teams in achieving its targets and goals. This position requires somebody to be hands on and technically minded due to the machinery needing to be frequently maintained. Shift pattern: 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, repeat (7am - 7pm / 7pm - 7am).

Responsibilities
  • To ensure Health & Safety standards, policies and procedures are observed, maintained and reviewed.
  • Ensure quality standards are observed and maintained.
  • To monitor and assist shift performance and disciplines.
  • Promote and manage change.
  • To maintain Health & Safety standards and performance on site.
  • To supervise in the day to day running of the facility.
  • To deputise in the absence on the Production Manager.
  • Assist the team in the achievement of the site's KPI's.
  • A general understanding of engineering - mechanical /electrical.
  • Working knowledge of H&S, IOSH (Desirable).
  • Knowledge and understanding of ISO accreditations and requirements.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Office, Excel, Word etc).
  • Previous management/supervisor experience of working with teams predominantly in Production/Manufacturing environments (Desirable).
