We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Owner.

The role of Product Owner is to support a team whilst having accountability for a HSBC UK internal systems & product ownership. The Product Owner will report in to a Senior Product Owner. The Product Owner will support the Senior Product Owner to deliver the UK Bank mission of “Opening up a world of opportunity” by supporting our customers across the UK and internationally and driving the growth of HSBC UK in the right way – by placing customers at the heart of everything we do in an engaging, efficient and sustainable way. The Product Owner will encourage diversity and differentiation through a deep understanding across all inbound and outbound customer channels, in person or online.

Responsibilities
  • Support ownership of key HBUK internal systems including BMM/SFE/My Workspace
  • Work within VSIP construct prioritises demand requests for development on systems owned and manages complex IT & Transformation relationships
  • Work closely with the Third-Party Engagement and Controls team to ensure all contractual obligations are met and service standards are acceptable, following escalations processes where required
  • Take ownership of Key operational systems including branch scanning, Radio, WIFI etc
  • Be the UK Bank interface with ITID ensuring our current device and systems performance is fit for purpose and to develop the future view for UK devices and tools
Qualifications
  • A proven track record in effective leadership across financial services/banking
  • Experience of understanding strategy and aligning priorities, improving business effectiveness in sustainable ways.
  • A demonstrable strength in building effective networks and creating opportunities for others to work collaboratively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate complex information into audience friendly formats
  • A track record of deploying change both digital and non-digital which improves business in a way that inspires and engages those around them.

This is a full time, hybrid role based in either Birmingham, Leeds, Sheffield or Chester.
