This role involves managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with legislation, and leading supplier performance initiatives. An ideal candidate has a Level 4 CIPS qualification and experience in strategic procurement, focusing on value delivery and stakeholder relationships.
We re recruiting a Senior Buyer to take ownership of supply chain activities for a leading organisation in the public sector. You ll manage everything from sourcing, tendering, and contract implementation to supplier development, ensuring value delivery and strong stakeholder relationships.
You ll also support other parts of the wider group, working closely with procurement teams to drive best practice and compliance with the latest regulations, including the Procurement Act 2023.
