A local support organization in Stirling seeks a Personal Assistant/Care Worker for a 19-year-old woman studying Psychology at Stirling University. The candidate will assist with personal care, social activities, and daily tasks, supporting her in balancing her university life. A PVG check is required, and though a driving license is preferable, it's not essential. Applications are welcomed from females only.
Post: Personal Assistant/ Care Worker
Hours: 31 hours per week
Rate of Pay: £12.60 per hour gross
Driving License: Preferable but not necessary
The hours will cover weekends, with an opportunity for more hours when covering holidays. Multiple applicants can be considered for this role for a week on, week off rota if they are suitable.
This role is to assist a 19-year-old woman who is starting at Stirling University, studying Psychology. The role will include some personal care and assistance with socialising. The young woman is severely visually impaired and is a wheelchair user. She is looking for someone with similar interests who can help balance studying, socialising and everyday life.
The young woman is very social, fun-loving, an animal lover, outgoing and has hobbies including music (listening and playing), listening to books and watching TV shows.
