The role

Responsibilities

Support in the Theatre department as an Orthopaedic Scrub Nurse/ODP. Work with facilities that include laminar airflow theatres and integrated theatre technology to deliver high-quality surgical care.

Qualifications
  • NMC/HCPC registration
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics including but not limited to hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty and anterior cruciate ligaments
  • Spinal Scrub experience
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) would be desirable, but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate and empathetic character
