By conducting observations and assessments in accordance with the Early Years Statutory Framework, we aim to meet each child’s unique needs while giving them and their families a solid foundation for the transition to school life and helping them develop the skills, positive behaviours, knowledge, and confidence they will need in the future. We are located in Sudbury Hill Harrow, inside a Grade II listed property. The nursery features high-quality equipment, laptops, and a sunny outdoor garden with a water feature.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Contribute to the growth of children and uphold a pleasant and inviting learning environment
• Foster parent collaboration in the classroom and maintain good communication skills
• Ensure children’s health, safety, and well-being at all times in accordance with safeguarding legislation
• Assist with planning, observations, and evaluations for a group of children
• Participate in training sessions, staff meetings, parent evenings, and occasional marketing activities

Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive and relevant childcare credential, such as CACHE/NQV Level 2 or 3 or its equivalent in QTS
• Prior experience working with and caring for children under five
• Experience with children who have special educational needs and disabilities is advantageous
• DBS or enhanced disclosure check
• Understanding of the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage)
• Self-motivated team player able to establish good rapport with parents, staff, and children
• Knowledge of computer-based learning diaries
