The role

As a Business Development Manager, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll work at the forefront of growing our Consultancy business, supporting future revenue growth and increasing our market share across key sectors.

Day-to-day, you’ll support the expansion of the Consultancy business and act as a key link between Cavendish Nuclear and our clients.

  • Develop and maintain account plans and relationships with key clients
  • Support Lead Consultants in identifying and delivering growth opportunities
  • Drive a consultative selling approach – identifying client needs and delivering solutions
  • Lead and contribute to the preparation of capture plans and Gate Packs (Gate 0–3)
  • Provide regular updates to senior leadership on pipeline status and opportunity development

This role is full time, 37 hours per week and offers hybrid working with 2–3 days per week in the Leicester or Bristol office.

Essential experience
  • Strong experience in a client-facing environment
  • Experience of nuclear safety-related projects (e.g. Safety Case, Human Factors)
  • Ability to technically advise on safe working practices
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
