Overview

The Bread Factory is a long-established business specialising in the production and distribution of high quality breads, pastries and cakes across the UK. The company’s focus is on freshly baked artisan products, along with excellent customer service. We are the proud suppliers of Michelin starred restaurants, prestigious hotels and cafés with our award-winning breads, pastries and cakes.

We’re looking for reliable Night Shift Lead to join our team and help us keep things moving while the world sleeps!

Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Hours: 5:00 pm to 2:00 am

Shift Pattern: 5 days out of 7, with weekend work as required

Location: Manchester

Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate the production team, ensuring smooth operations, clear direction, and strong performance.
  • Maintain the highest standards of product quality, food safety, hygiene, and compliance with all regulations.
  • Plan and organise production effectively, resolving challenges quickly and driving cost-efficient operations.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, boosting efficiency and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support team development through training, feedback, and performance reviews.
