Role Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately sorting and identifying metals, ensuring smooth operations, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sort and identify various grades of metal
  • Use XRF analysis equipment to confirm material composition
  • Conduct visual checks and basic testing
  • Assist with yard operations, including loading and unloading
  • Operate machinery and equipment (training provided)
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work area
  • Report issues promptly and contribute to team targets
Requirements
  • Experience using XRF analysis tools - essential
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in an industrial/yard environment
  • Reliable, proactive, and team-oriented
  • Previous experience in metals, recycling, or warehousing is advantageous
  • FLT licence is desirable but not essential
