Overview

We are recruiting for a Legal Administrator for our Knighton-based client on an ongoing temporary basis. This is a varied position role supporting three solicitors in Conveyancing and Wills and Probate.

Responsibilities
  • Secretarial duties including typing of letters and documents, audio typing, filing and copying.
  • Preparing documents and correspondence, including preparing mail and enclosures.
  • Assisting in administration of client files from opening of files to their close and subsequent archiving.
  • Making appointments, maintaining and reviewing the diary on a daily basis.
  • Management of financial aspects of client files including ensuring that all money transactions are notified to the Accounts Clerk and are noted.
  • Answering telephone and other queries from clients and others.
  • Receiving telephone messages, facsimile messages and emails ensuring they are dealt with promptly.
  • Communicating with clients in their personal calls to the office and ensuring that they are given a prompt, efficient and friendly service.
  • Covering for others when they are unavailable.
Skills and Experience

Note: Previous legal experience is not essential but would be advantageous. You must be IT literate and have excellent communication skills. It is vitally important that you are a dynamic and driven individual who is keen to prove their ability to go the extra mile. Great attention to detail and organisational skill are essential for this role. You will need to be able to work under pressure and to deadlines.

Salary information:

Salary: £35,000 + Car + Bonus (£50k OTE Achievable)
