A leading educational institution in Slough is seeking a Learning Support Assistant – Technical to support IT and Travel & Tourism students. You will assist with teaching and learning activities, helping students to overcome challenges. The role is term time only, requiring collaborative teamwork and a supportive approach to education. Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant – Technical to join our Slough and Langley team for 37 hours a week on a permanent basis. This role is term time only, so you will work 37 weeks of the year.
In this role you will enable IT or Travel & Tourism students to access the curriculum as fully as possible, supporting them to work towards their desired outcomes, achieving their learning goals and potential.
Working in a team under the direction and supervision of the Curriculum Director, Programme Manager and Lecturers, you will assist with teaching, learning and associated activities in accordance with college policies, procedures and individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP). This may include supporting whole classes; working with individuals and small groups of learners; assisting with planning, delivery, and evaluation of learning activities; and working closely with pastoral and welfare staff in supporting students to overcome learning, physical or emotional boundaries.
