Job description

As a Kitchen Porter with ISS UK, you will be at the heart of the action and play a key role in our catering operation. You'll support the preparation and service of food while maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency across the kitchen.

The Role

• Ensure the smooth running of the pot‑wash area, including washing and storing all equipment, utensils, and crockery
• Clean kitchen fixtures, fittings, walls, and floors to a high hygiene standard
• Support with receiving and putting away store goods safely and promptly
• Assist the kitchen team with basic food preparation tasks
• Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and service areas
• Deliver a high standard of customer care at all times
• Work collaboratively as part of a motivated and passionate team
• Adhere to all Health & Safety and food hygiene regulations to ensure a safe working environment
• Meet deadlines and support the timely, accurate service of meals
