Weston Green School is seeking a warm, skilled, and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 English and Maths Teacher to join our flourishing independent school in Thames Ditton, Surrey. We are a school that places character, wellbeing, and relationships at the heart of learning, and we are keen to appoint someone who shares these values. Due to growing pupil numbers, this newly created role offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside our current Year 2 teacher, supporting English and Maths teaching in Year 2.
This role is ideal for an experienced Key Stage 1 teacher who enjoys working collaboratively and wants to make a meaningful impact through small-group and class teaching, nurturing children’s confidence, resilience, and love of learning alongside academic progress.
Position: Key Stage 1 English and Maths Teacher (Year 2)
Contract: Temporary, until the end of the academic year
Hours: 8.25am – 10.25am, Monday to Friday, or A similar number of hours across four days (to be agreed)
