Overview

IT Infrastructure Engineer

Salary – £33,057 per annum

Full-time permanent role, 35.75 hours a week, Monday to Friday

Location – Meadowbank Sports Centre

Responsibilities
  • Monitor, maintain, and enhance IT systems, hardware, and software across all venues.
  • Manage and resolve helpdesk requests, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Educate and empower colleagues to use technology effectively.
  • Ensure IT security, data protection, and compliance with relevant policies.
  • Liaise with our teams and third-party suppliers to resolve issues and implement improvements.
Ideal candidates / Qualifications
  • Microsoft Certified Professional qualification or equivalent (e.g., Computing degree).
  • At least 2 years’ experience on an IT helpdesk.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory, and network connectivity.
  • Evidence of troubleshooting, hardware installations, and providing IT solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • A full driving licence.
  • Strong organisational abilities, creativity in developing solutions, and the capacity to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Location & Availability

This role is based at our Head Office in Meadowbank, with regular travel required between our other venues. A company van is available for work-related travel. Additionally, you will be part of an on-call rota, providing support for critical issues outside of core opening hours, one out of every four weeks.
