Teaching Personnel are working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Worthing to recruit an Individual Needs Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Year 4 pupil with Autism.

Responsibilities
  • Providing consistent 1:1 support throughout the school day
  • Supporting learning, communication, and emotional regulation
  • Helping the pupil engage positively with classroom activities
  • Supporting social interactions and transitions
  • Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to follow individual support plans
Qualifications

  • Passionate about supporting children with Autism and additional needs
  • Able to build positive and trusting relationships
  • Calm and adaptable in a primary school environment
