A leading healthcare provider in Nottingham seeks a Highly Specialist Lead Dietitian to provide clinical leadership for Stroke, Health Care of the Older Person, and General Medicine. The successful candidate will lead the development and delivery of nutritional care across various pathways, mentor junior staff, and contribute to the wider nutrition strategy. This role is integral to a collaborative approach in enhancing dietetic services across the trust.
Are you a Dietitian with genuine interest in helping support the prevention and treatment of malnutrition through service improvement? This post is the Highly Specialist Lead Dietitian for Stroke and Health Care of the Older Person at NUH. You will play a crucial role in leading, developing and delivering high-quality nutritional care to patients within the Hyper-Acute, Acute and Stroke Rehabilitation pathways. You will also contribute to the dietetic management of the Health Care of the Older person service. The post holder contributes to the work of the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics and wider Nutrition and Hydration strategy work at NUH.
You will work as a Highly Specialised Dietitian providing clinical leadership for Stroke, Health Care of the Older Person & General Medicine. You will work closely with other dietitians & AHPs to collaboratively provide an effective dietetic service across NUH. You will share a caseload with new registrants & specialist dietitians, providing supervision & mentorship, whilst also working with the wider Medicine team to continue to promote & develop the role of a dietitian in their specialist area.
