Cardiac Rehabilitation Health Care Assistant – Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital Heart Assessment Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full‑time (37.5 hours per week) Cardiac Rehabilitation Health Care Assistant. The role will be based at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital with potential to work across site at The Princess Royal Hospital, Telford. Hours are Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursing and Exercise Team in delivering a comprehensive Cardiac Rehabilitation Programme, focusing on outpatient clinics and the gym‑based exercise programme.
  • Assist the registered Nurse and Cardiac Rehabilitation Exercise Team to meet the needs of patients participating in the education and exercise programme.
  • Accurately undertake and record patient observations.
  • Provide support in the delivery of the exercise programme.
  • Assist in the outpatient clinics as required.
