Location: Southampton (sixth form college near Bitterne)

Start Date: Immediate

Contract Duration: Approx. 6 weeks (potential to continue until Easter 2026)

Pay: £160 £250 per day (depending on experience)

About the Role

Teach engaging Health & Social Care sessions at Levels 1 and 2 to students aged over approximately six weeks, from now until the end of July. Lessons include both classroom instruction and practical elements, such as mock placements and skills development. The college may consider part-time arrangements for the right candidate.

Ideal Candidate
  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching Health & Social Care at Level 1 and/or 2 in a secondary or further education setting
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills
  • Passionate about preparing students for careers in care and support roles
