Job description

Multiquip Poultry is seeking a HC Live Bird Driver to join our Welshpool depot for night shift operations.

As a national leader in poultry transport, we specialise in moving live birds from farms to processing plants, ensuring safe and efficient logistics.

You will be responsible for driving trailers from poultry farms to the processing plant.

All loading of Poultry is undertaken by other staff, drivers are only responsible for the placement of trailers. Although the majority of tasks occur during night and early morning shifts.

About You

HC Licence with 2 years’ experience desirable.

Be able to work within the Poultry Industry (no pet birds or contact with pigs allowed).

Fatigue Management Certificate.

Understanding of basic fatigue management and mass management guidelines.

Team player with the ability to work unsupervised.

Provide a recent driving record.

Punctual & customer focused drivers essential.

Ability to start and finish at depot based at Welshpool WA. (Note: Depot moving to Landsdale end March 2026).

Logbook/EWD work diary experience.

Understanding of Chain of Responsibility.

Willing to undertake a Fitness To Drive / Pre-employment Medical.
