Finance Assistant

Salary: NJC6-10 (£25,989-£27,693 per annum - actual salary). Full time, 37 hours per week, permanent, or temporary, all year round. Starting as soon as possible.

What we’re looking for

We are seeking a dedicated, reliable and enthusiastic Finance Assistant to complement our existing central team. The successful candidate will work with the wider finance team to ensure accurate financial records are maintained in line with current legislation and Trust policies. You should be a team player who can work collaboratively and build positive relationships with colleagues at all levels. Applicants should share the Trust’s high aspirations for pupils and staff.

About the role

Full time, 37 hours per week, permanent, or temporary, all year round. We are part of a highly successful Multi Academy Trust committed to providing high quality education and the best possible outcomes for children and young people. You will be part of the finance team and play an integral role in our processing activities to ensure financial records are accurate and compliant with current policies.

Responsibilities
  • Work in conjunction with the wider finance team and be an integral part of the processing team.
  • Maintain accurate financial records in line with current legislation and Trust policies.
  • Contribute to a culture of accuracy and continuous improvement within the team.
