The Role

As an EYFS & KS1 Teacher, you will play a vital role in developing pupils' early academic, social, and emotional skills, creating a strong foundation for future learning.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based and structured lessons in line with the EYFS framework and KS1 national curriculum
  • Support pupils' early development in phonics, literacy, numeracy, and personal, social, and emotional learning
  • Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform next steps
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute positively to the wider school community and uphold school values
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or significant teaching experience within UK primary schools
  • Experience teaching in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum
  • A nurturing, patient, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
