Qualifications

I’m supporting a long-standing engineering and technology business in their search for an Electronics Design Manager to oversee a team of seven and drive forward innovation across new and existing product lines.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Guiding, supporting, and developing a team of seven electronics engineers to deliver strong technical output.
• Overseeing day-to-day design activities and providing practical, hands‑on technical direction.
• Coordinating multiple design projects, ensuring smooth progress from early concept through to final delivery.
• Reviewing and refining electronic designs, schematics, PCB layouts, and prototypes.
• Identifying opportunities to enhance current products, development processes, and tools.
• Working closely with internal teams such as project management, software, mechanical, production, and commercial functions.
• Contributing to recruitment, team structuring, and performance development.
