Job summary

An environmental services company in Aldridge seeks a dedicated professional to ensure site operations adhere to safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities

• Provide adequate and appropriate training to ensure site operations has sufficient resources.
• Participate in the site/facility EMS and QHS meetings, actively promoting environmental awareness and Health and safety standards.
• Ensure day-to-day site operations are run in accordance with legislative and organisational requirements.
• Provide daily tasks to a team of operatives ensuring priorities in line with site requirements.
• Capture and ensure that deviations against operating criteria are promptly notified and detail remedial actions.
• Ensure Safe Systems of Work, Permit to Work, contractor monitoring, inductions, Risk Assessment & Method Statement are sufficient.

Skills

Knowledge of COMAH / MAH / OSSOW

Previous work within the waste treatment or chemical processing industry

Knowledge of quality, health, safety and environmental systems
