Qualifications

  • Experience in the dental profession with good understanding of dental compliance.

Overview

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, and professional Dental Compliance Advisor to provide helpline support and a high level of service to our existing membership base.

Job purpose: The role provides support to members through the dental compliance helpline and conducting remote Quality Practice Scheme (QPS) inspections, while assisting the department with administrative services. The aim is to deliver exceptional service to members, enhancing client satisfaction and contributing to improved retention.

You will be responsible for:

Responsibilities

Helpline

  • Handling incoming helpline calls, enquiries and emails
  • Call allocation and referrals to other teams as appropriate
  • Carrying out research for member enquiries and template updates
  • Identifying referral opportunities to the Sales team and booking demos as appropriate
  • Maintaining accurate records of all enquiries and clients on the company database and activities arising from them
  • Gaining feedback from members following CQC inspections
  • Providing correct information and advice using the information in the iComply templates, regulators, health care and government guidance where appropriate
  • Identifying and reporting new template or template update requirements raising a template alert when relevant
  • Reporting clients’ comments and complaints to the Compliance Helpline Manager
  • Support teams within the Regulatory and Professional Services department with administrative tasks when required

Quality Practice Scheme (QPS)

  • QPS administration – Excel spreadsheets, booking inspections via Teams
  • Chasing evidence as required pre-/post-QPS inspection
  • Carry out remote QPS inspections via Teams
  • QPS report writing
Skills and experience

Essential

  • Experience and/or knowledge of the UK dental regulatory requirements
  • Good research skills covering healthcare topics using relevant information sources
  • An ability to interpret sources and understand their legal and operational impact
  • A real interest in healthcare related topics with the ability and willingness to become a subject matter expert on dental compliance
  • Good IT skills, including competence in MS Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to work remotely with minimum supervision and as part of a team
  • Strong written and verbal skills
  • Attention to detail

Desirable

  • Dental practice management, dental compliance, or dental nursing experience
  • Experience of using Agilio iComply
  • Qualifications in risk assessment, infection control and dental radiography
Additional Information

To be considered for this role you will have previous experience in the dental profession with a good understanding of dental compliance and be passionate about providing exceptionally high levels of service. This role would ideally suit a Compliance/ Practice Manager.

This is a full-time role based remotely/from home.

Job type: Full-time, permanent, some out of hours work may be required from time to time.
