National law firm is looking to add to their team with the hire of additional lawyers to join their high-profile Defender Insurance Team.

Role Profile

• Defender Insurance Lawyer- Glasgow
• NQ- 2 PQE and Associate/ Senior Associate Level.

• The Defender Insurance team provides a full, expert service in defending public (PL) and employers' liability (EL) claims, across the private sector and the public sector.
• The team is second-to-none in providing litigation defence services in these and other specialist Casualty areas and operate on a national basis with dedicated commercial insurance, motor, disease, regulatory and public sector teams and as part of a wider specialism we have a dedicated Casualty Fraud team.
• You will work in a dedicated insurance team based out of Glasgow with your own varied caseload of predominantly pre and litigated disease claims as well as EL/PL claims, motor/fraud and assist with high value and complex claims- The firm receive direct instructions from both insureds and insurers, as well as local authorities. You will be responsible for the running of the day to day of your cases including liaising with clients, opponents, court, witnesses and undertaking your own liability investigat...
