Overview

Are you an experienced Registered Nurse passionate about making a real difference in patients’ lives? Our client, a leading and rapidly growing healthcare provider, is looking for a Community Nurse to deliver high-quality renal and peritoneal dialysis care in patients’ homes in the North East – around Durham, Stockton and Middlesbrough catchment areas. The role offers an attractive salary of £40,840, paid mileage, and other benefits.

You will be working 5 days a week, starting at either 7am or 1pm, with no nights and weekends on rotation. Enjoy 31 days of annual leave, including bank holidays, and an additional day off for your birthday, plus private pension, car scheme and extra bonuses.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with their Peritoneal Dialysis (PD).
• Provide safe nursing care, including Peritoneal Dialysis, IV medication administration, and more.
• Set up patients automated PD machines.
• Visit patients to connect and disconnect them from their PD.
• Monitor observations such as blood pressure and weight to ensure patient receives correct regime.
• Provide peritoneal catheter site care and dressing changes.
• Support both Adult & Paediatric patients in their own homes.
