CNC Machinist/Programmer - XYZ Milling Machines

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to program, set, and operate our XYZ machining centres equipped with Siemens controls, as well as our XYZ SMX milling machines.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can work independently, take ownership of their projects, and ensure high standards of precision and efficiency.


Key Responsibilities


  • Programming, setting, and operating XYZ CNC machining centres

  • Using Siemens control systems to create and adjust CNC programs

  • Operating XYZ SMX milling machines as required

  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

  • Performing quality checks to ensure accuracy and compliance

  • Collaborating with the team to improve processes and reduce waste


Requirements


  • Proven experience with CNC milling, ideally using XYZ machines

  • Strong knowledge of Siemens CNC controls

  • Ability to read technical drawings and work to tight tolerances

  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work with minimal supervision

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
