Overview

Are you a HGV Class 1 Day Night Driver looking for ongoing regular work in Tamworth? Want to work with one of the UK's leading car parts and accessories distributors? Long term opportunities are available with the possibility of full-time contracts after a period of service. Night shifts are available Sunday to Thursday and Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Car parts deliveries to stores and dealerships, where you will be unloading cages
• Variety of different runs with different locations across England, Scotland and Wales
• Tail-lift work, palletised unloading via pump truck with some loose loads
• Start times from 19:00 to 03:00, working on a 46 hour week
• 5 days per week
• Site is based in Dordon Tamworth

Qualifications

• Have at least 12 months C+E experience
• Held Class 1 licence for AT LEAST 2 years
• Have no more than 6 points for minor offenses (No DDs, DRs or CDs)
• Hold valid CPC card and Digital Tachograph card

Pay and Hours

HGV Class 1 Drivers PAYE rates of pay: Night Rates of £19.64 per hour. Guaranteed 8 hours per shift.

Mandatory Assessments

• Written test (Excellent knowledge of Driving hours, Tacho laws and Highway Code required)
• Full site and safe systems of work induction
• Vehicle familiarisation
• Practical driving assessment
