Serco Maritime have a fantastic opportunity for a Chief Engineer to join the team in Plymouth.
As the Chief Engineer, your role will be to operate and ensure correct maintenance and repair of the vessel’s auxiliary machinery, ship’s systems and equipment in a safe, effective and economic manner to ensure the vessel is to Flag State and Class standards. You will be responsible for the safe efficient and economic operation and upkeep of the vessel’s hull and machinery systems, equipment, structure and fittings including associated electrical and electronic equipment, embarked craft, ship’s boats and portable plant.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have overall responsibility of the operational state and maintenance of all machinery and electrical equipment onboard the vessel allocated.
