Overview

Business Development Consultant – 6-12 month contract on a full or part-time basis to set up business development for the Bristol office of an international law firm.

This Business Development Consultant role is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in setting up the marketing and business development strategy for the Bristol office of this major international law firm. The role can be taken on a full time basis (most likely for six months) or a part-time basis (most likely for 12 months) with the possibility for the role to become permanent for the right person. You will work closely with the firm’s Practice Managers and Business Development Managers to develop the marketing and business capability.

Responsibilities
  • Work with the Bristol partners to develop the BD and marketing strategy for the office;
  • Conduct in-depth local market analysis of the Bristol market, including sector and competitor analysis;
  • Work with the partners to identify opportunities for new business;
  • Develop a key client programme for the Bristol office;
  • Run events and create local sponsorship opportunities to raise the firm’s profile in the Bristol market;
  • Develop profile raising initiatives and campaigns for the local market.
Qualifications

You will have significant experience in a marketing and business development role gained within a professional services environment. Knowledge of the Bristol and South-West market is highly desirable for this role.
