Job Description

Business Analyst – Finance Transformation

We are seeking a Business Analyst with broad experience in finance transformation to support a large-scale digital change programme. This role will focus on enhancing end-to-end finance processes—emphasising Reporting, Forecasting, and Procure-to-Pay (P2P)—and on shaping the digital roadmap through March 2027.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the definition and prioritisation of technology and process requirements across multiple Finance functions, especially P2P, Reporting, Budgeting and Forecasting.
  • Conduct as-is process analysis and identify pain points and improvement opportunities through stakeholder engagement.
  • Design to-be process maps and future ways of working aligned to transformation goals.
  • Collaborate with Finance SMEs, Technology, and Data teams to ensure business needs are clearly translated into deliverable system requirements.
  • Map interdependencies across workstreams to support planning and risk management.
Essential Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst on Finance or ERP transformation programmes.
  • Strong working knowledge of core finance processes, especially Reporting, Forecasting and P2P.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce clear, structured, and translatable requirements.
  • Expertise in process mapping (e.g. BPMN) and cross-functional process design.
  • Strong analytical mindset, excellent documentation, and attention to detail.
Desirable
  • Accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or working knowledge of financial principles and reporting cycles.
  • Familiarity with systems such as Agresso, Horizon, or similar ERP platforms.
  • Previous experience working within or alongside Finance functions to deliver digital or operational change.
